David C. Hillstrom, age 54, joined Infolane as vice president in 1995 and became its president in 1998. Beginning in 2002 David led a joint venture between Infolane and Oakland-based e-agency named Hosting Services Inc. The joint venture operates a shared, managed Website hosting environment for the clients of both companies. Today, the joint venture continues as a collaboration between Infolane, Branding Communications, Inc. and Big 8 Software, Inc.

Under David's leadership Infolane was an early developer of highly interactive Websites for business, government and organizations. That focus has maintained Infolane as an able service provider during economic cycles that has seen many competitors come and go.

Before joining Infolane, Mr. Hillstrom spent 16 years in the banking industry, extending loans and lines of credit to companies involved in high technology, manufacturing, distribution and services.

Mr. Hillstrom earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota in 1978 and an MBA degree from Santa Clara University in 1986. He resides in Berkeley, California.
