I like to always download my messages to my main computer. When I am away from the office I like to check my mail using the Web Interface. I can leave a copy of my mail on the server, and thus accessible to me from whereever I may be, by selecting Leave a copy of messages on server. Even if I have read a message, I can use the Web Interface to open it again from any computer. The message doesn't get deleted from the server until I delete it from the deleted items folder in my e-mail client.

IMPORTANT! Don't allow thousands of messages to accumulate on the server. Make certain you clear them from time to time if you select this option.
